Mission

The education system serves as the backbone of a society in shaping the future of a nation. Schools act as nurseries where future generations are nurtured. Where after, they play a crucial role in guiding the direction of a nation & establishing its standing on the international stage. Unfortunately, from top to bottom, our nation has developed a self-centered approach & reactive mindset rather than a proactive methodology. As a result, we find ourselves lagging in every field of life.

To address several key issues currently embedded in our society which has caused the decline of our nation, the education system is required to be improved.

Vision

To foster a culture in our society wherein our children with disabilities are not taken as a burden. But a society which sees their potential, celebrates their unique abilities & addresses their limitations.

To provide Pakistan with a generation of specially-abled/ normal individuals who possess the following traits:

  • Capable of thinking selflessly for the greater good of the nation & humanity, beyond personal & family concerns.
  • Deeply familiar with the Quran, its teachings & psychology.
  • Well equipped with knowledge & eager to learn more.
  • Equipped with a skill to earn, enabling them to create job opportunities rather than merely seeking employment.

Why Inclusive Education System?

Disability is a growing demographic in our society. Census data from 1998 & 2017 show an increase in disability prevalence from 2.49% to 14.97%. According to a Ministry of Health report, 68.2% of specially-abled children are illiterate. Consequently, neither a large number of individuals are able to live their lives gracefully nor they are contributing to national development.
In this aspect IEC’s model is aligned with international practices observed in countries such as Japan, Canada & various European nations where disability ratio is on the rise.

What are we upto?

In addition to traditional education, we provide technical training in soft skills (computer/ internet based) to our students from underprivileged backgrounds. This prepares them to start earning immediately & support their families, rather than spending time in job hunting after graduation.
We have incorporated the Quran as a subject, teaching it in the native language to deepen understanding rather than mere memorization in an unfamiliar language. At IEC, we aim to cultivate a culture where students not only read the Quran but also live by its teachings, fulfilling the true requirement of Allah’s guidance.

We are providing...

  • Formal school education.
  • Skill based education.
  • Conceptual Study of Quran.
  • Physiotherapy sessions, exercise equipment & rehab medicines to specially abled students.
  • Post education microfinance support to our students to establish themselves.
